The Ranger Tugs R-31 S is ideal for extended cruising while remaining trailerable. The foredeck features seating and a table that raises or lowers for underway or at-anchor entertaining, and the cockpit offers wraparound seating with fold-out gunwale seats that tuck away cleanly when not in use. Two full staterooms — a large island berth forward with en suite head and a midship berth with day head — accommodate six comfortably. A starboard side door provides easy bow access for line handling. Powered by the Volvo D4 320 HP diesel mounted outside the cabin, the R-31 S cruises at 16 knots.
