A scaled-down version of Tiara’s flagship 4000 Open, the 3500 Express is one of the most versatile and stylish express cruisers in her class - offering a rare blend of seaworthiness, performance, and comfort. Heavily built on a wide modified-V hull with prop pockets and a shallow keel, she’s stable offshore yet nimble around the dock.
This particular 1995 Tiara 3500 Express has been thoughtfully updated and maintained, with twin fuel injected, 380hp - 502 Crusaders completely rebuilt in 2020/2021, a custom hydraulic swim platform, and all-new canvas (2025). Access to the engines is effortless with the hydraulic lift deck, making service and inspection simple. The wide beam makes this 35-footer feel much larger than her size, both topside and below. The cockpit is ideal for entertaining with single-level seating for eight, abundant storage, and Tiara’s signature transom trunk. The hydraulic swim platform adds both functionality and luxury, whether for stowing a tender, or enjoying time at anchor. Below deck, the interior is regarded as one of the best in any midsize express. The forward master stateroom is complemented by a large lounge that converts into a private cabin at night, while a removable pedestal seat allows the dinette to seat five comfortably or convert into a double bed.

Born and raised in Southern Ontario, Colson grew up boating on the Great Lakes, where he developed a lifelong passion for life on the water. He now calls Georgian Bay home each summer aboard his 35-foot Viking Sportfish. When he's not on the water, Colson can be found enjoying motorsports - especially snowmobiling during the off-season.
He began his career yachting, running a 62-foot Neptunus, navigating the Great Lakes, the U.S. East Coast, and The Bahamas. These experiences laid the foundation for his transition into the superyacht industry, where he further developed his seamanship, mechanical systems expertise, and understanding of high-end yacht maintenance.
